Mumbai: A barge that sank in the sea near the Hira oil well at Mumbai High was finally found by the Navy at a depth of 30 meters. The navy was able to locate the barge after a search operation on Saturday

The barge 'Papa 305' sank in the sea due to cyclone Taukte in the vicinity of ONGC's diamond fuel well. The fuel well belonged to ONGC, while the operator of the barge belonged to Afcons. At the time of the accident, 261 employees were working there. Navy rescue teams have succeeded in rescuing 186 of them. However, 66 people have been killed in the accident and nine are still missing. Yellow Gate police have registered an accidental death in connection with the death of a worker on the P305 barge who was submerged in a cyclone.
The Navy is working hard to find the P305's barge. The barge was found at the bottom of the sea after a day-long search on Saturday.
The catamaran, INS Makar, was discovered by a special sonar radar on Saturday night, the navy said.
The plow broke and the barge struck

The barge stuck in the storm was standing with three plows. But in the afternoon, the waves and the wind blew unexpectedly. The waves began to pass over the barge. So one by one, the three plows broke and were swept away by the waves. The barge then became unstable at sea. In it, he hit a pillar of an oil well. So it tilted. The water began to seep into it and it sank in just a few hours, ONGC said.

The action was taken against Captain Rakesh Ballav and some others in connection with the death of the employees following the reply of Chief Engineer Mustafir Rehman Hussain Sheikh on the barge. Capt. Rakesh Ballav said he did not listen to the cyclone's warning, despite repeated warnings from staff. According to the police, a case has been registered against Ballav for causing some injuries, injuries and drowning. Meanwhile, Ballav himself is still missing. Strangers were also charged in the crime as senior company officials may have ordered them not to move the barge out of the sea, police said.
