The body of pilot Abhinav was recovered on Friday morning. An inquiry has been ordered into the entire accident. The Air Force has also expressed grief over Abhinav's death.

The MiG-21 fighter jet crashed near Langiana Khurd in Bagpurana village in Moga around 1 am. After receiving the information, the administration and senior army officials removed the body of the pilot after a lot of hard work, Indian Air Force officials said.

The IAF expressed its condolences over the death of pilot, Squadron Leader Abhinav Chaudhary in the accident. The court has also ordered an inquiry into the cause of the Indian Air Force plane crash.

Earlier, on March 17, 2021, a MiG-21 had crashed. Gathering Captain A Gupta was slaughtered in the mishap. Prior, on January 5, a MiG-21 Bison slammed at Suratgarh airbase in Rajasthan. This is the third MiG-21 crash so far.
