The OIC unanimously supported Pakistan's proposal
All Islamic countries came forward in support of Palestine. The 57-member Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) has issued a joint statement condemning Israel's actions. In its resolution, Pakistan called for joint statements on Israeli action. Pakistan's proposal was unanimously supported by the OIC.

Demand for peace between Israeli security forces and Palestinian supporters
According to Dawn, the meeting in New York also approved a proposal to get international support to speak at a special session of the General Assembly of the Ambassadors of Turkey and Saudi Arabia. The ambassador of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation has formed a group of member countries to present the issue to the United Nations (UN). Pakistan is also an important member of the group.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said in a separate statement on Tuesday that he was "deeply concerned" about the violence in the Palestinian territories. The United Nations has called for peace to be restored between Israeli security forces and Palestinian supporters.

Protests against the "brutal use of force" by Israeli forces
Ambassadors from OIC member states convened an emergency meeting at the United Nations to express outrage at Israel's aggression and condemned the "indiscriminate use of force" by Israeli forces against Palestinians in East Jerusalem. In a statement issued after the meeting, the OIC ambassador said Israel's attacks on Sheikh Zarah in East Jerusalem during Ramadan and on Palestinian supporters in Gaza were all against humanitarian law and human rights law. The ambassadors of Islamic countries have called on the international community to immediately halt Israeli efforts to evict residents of Sheikh Zarah, who have lived there for decades.
