Storylineof Gadar 2 brings back India's most loved family of Tara, Sakeena and Jeete; 22 years after its predecessor. Set against the backdrop of Indo-Pakistan war of 1971, Tara Singh, once again, will face every enemy to protect the honor of country and family.Gadar 2 has been released officially on 11th August 2023. Gadar 2 starring Sunny Deol, and Amisha Patel in lead roles. Gadar narrated the love story of Tara Singh (Sunny Deol) and Sakina (Ameesha Patel), Gadar 2 is a tale of hatred between India and Pakistan that refuses to die down, told from the lens of a father's bond with his son. As the fear of war looms large, Lieutenant Colonel Devendra Rawat from Punjab (Gaurav Chopra) asks Tara for his help to deploy his trucks and send immediate ammunition at the border to help Indian soldiers. Fighting the enemies, Tara disappears along with six Indian soldiers. It's later revealed that they are held captive by Pakistan Major General Hamid Iqbal (Manish Wadhwa), who wants to avenge the death of 40 members of his battalion that Tara had slaughtered during the climax sequence of Gadar.

Sunny Deol-starrer 'Gadar 2' has finally released in theatres on August 11. While the actor's fans are flocking theatre halls to watch the much-hyped sequel of 'Gadar: Ek Prem Kathaa', Esha Deol has shared a special message for her half brother on the release day of his film.
Two days before the release of the much-awaited Gadar 2, Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel hosted a special screening of the film for the Indian Army. The actors, along with their team were in Delhi for the same. Reportedly, the Indian Army loved the film and appreciated the performance of the actors. This was also a unanimous response from them.
