Hitman has now become the batsman who has scored the most centuries in the World Cup with seven centuries. Rohit Sharma scored 131 runs in 84 balls with the help of 16 fours and five sixes. Talking about the match, after winning the toss, Afghanistan made its second highest score of the World Cup and scored 272 runs for eight wickets in the stipulated 50 overs. In reply, the Indian team seems to be easily moving towards its second win in the tournament.

Rohit Sharma completed seven centuries in the 20th innings of only his third World Cup.In the 2019 World
Cup played on the difficult soil of England, Rohit Sharma scored a record five centuries. This was the
record for most centuries in a single World Cup.
