Early Life and Background: Ismail Siddiqui was born in Kerala 1 August 1954, India. He had a passion for storytelling and filmmaking from a young age. He pursued his education in the field of filmmaking, which laid the foundation for his career in the industry.

Career Highlights: Ismail Siddiqui entered the Malayalam film industry as a director and quickly gained attention for his thought-provoking and impactful films. He wass known for his ability to address social issues while maintaining an engaging narrative.

  1. "Arikil Oraal" (Behind the Veil, 2013): This film explores the complexities of human relationships and how societal norms can impact them. The film weaves together the lives of multiple characters, revealing their struggles and aspirations.

His film Bodyguard  in Malyalam  has been remade into Tamil as KAAVLAN by Siddique himself. He also remade the film into hindi  as BODYGUARD.

 Death- Siddique suffered a heart attack on August 7 and died in kOCHI on August 8, 2023. he had been undergoing treatment for nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) over the last month.
